Committed to the viability of the projects we work on and their implementation, we are particularly proud of the technical assistance we provide throughout the execution of a project. This is thanks to our professional teams with the availability and means to provide technical expert support first-hand, wherever it is needed. We are honoured to have provided teams of on-site engineers for emblematic projects such as La Constitución de 1812 Bridge in Cadiz (Spain) and the River Tagus Viaduct for the High-Speed Railway Line between Spain and Portugal.

We believe quality to be an intrinsic part of our work philosophy. It is fundamental and integral to our company and we strive to go one step further in every project that comes our way. For this reason, we ensure our professionals boast knowledge and experience in quality policy and the procedures of construction, monitoring, and quality control and inspection. A clear example of this philosophy is the creation of the PONTIFEX® Expert System for quality management in the manufacture of metal structures. This system was developed by Carlos Fernández Casado, S. L. and PONTEM ENGINEERING SERVICES S.L. for the quality assurance of projects such as La Constitución de 1812 Bridge in Cadiz (Spain) and the new Forth Bridge (Queensferry Crossing, UK).

The infrastructure sector operates within an international and highly complex context. For this reason, the coordination, planning and management of large multidisciplinary international teams is of crucial importance to meet ambitious goals within the expected timeframe and with the required quality standards. PONTEM ENGINEERING SERVICES S.L. holds broad experience in the tasks of project management, which was put into practice for the tender for the new Obhur Creek Bridge in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

Bringing reliable, functional, viable and long-lasting projects to life is our mission. In order to do so, we are aware that in-depth knowledge of the state of the art of construction methods is essential. In this way, we are able to make our designs a reality with due guarantees, in addition to the auxiliary elements and detailed design necessary for such purpose. We undertake studies and draft designs for construction methods that are as complex as would be expected for the execution of large-scale projects for offshore structures – a field we are particularly proud to be part of.

For this reason, we believe taking an active part in a number of technical associations and institutions that work to promote the transfer of knowledge, technology and projects is necessary.
